United Way Perth-Huron is turning to youth who have idea to address pressing issues in the community affecting youth.
Applications for United Way’s Youth in Action Grants are now open for those 14-25 years old.
To be eligible the youth within the age group must be engaged with their peers in Perth or Huron County and have an adult trustee over the age of 25.
Grants of $1000 are available. In the past, grants have been awarded to address issues such as mental health, promotion of equity and creating outdoor learning spaces.
