On September 15th Wellington County OPP responded to a report of theft a business in Mount Forest on King Street West.
Video footage was obtained with the person involved being identified.
On September 16th, OPP responded to a report of a person entering a vehicle on Birmingham Street West with another call coming in of someone checking for unlocked vehicles.
Officers arrived and located the person in a vehicle which was later determined to be stolen.
As a result a 27 year old from Wellington North was charged with Theft Under $5000, Failure to Comply with an Undertaking and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.
The accused will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
