Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue Services responded to a report of a fire at a home in Fergus on September 16th just before 12pm.
By the time firefighters had arrived the blaze was already put out with smoke throughout the home.
The fire occurred on top of a kitchen stove at the residence which caused around $15,000 in damage due to smoke.
