Police Investigating Attempted Break & Enter at Home in St. Marys last Thursday Morning

Male suspect observed on security cam kicking door in at just before 1 am that morning. Male then appears to be scared off and left area without entering.

Stratford Police is investigating an attempted break and enter that occurred at a residence on Elgin Street East in St. Marys last Thursday, September 1st.

Police were advised by the home owner that they had woken up that morning to find the door had been forcibly kicked in.

Upon review of video surveillance the suspect was observed kicking the door in at just before 1 am that morning. After kicking the door in, the male appears to be scared off and left the area without entering.

The suspect is described as young white male, short hair and a thin build. The male was wearing black pants, light-coloured muscle shirt and carrying a backpack.
