A concept design for a new outdoor pool in Mount Forest has been approved by council.
The design will include a beach entry, sloped swimming area with a diving board and three swim lanes.
With the concept design given approval, the conversation of money entered the discussions again.
In July, council was informed the design of the pool could come with a cost of around $6 million.
Mayor Andy Lennox says it was important to have a design approved as it felt council was just going in circles for the past few months.
