As students pack their bags and return to school, its business as usual for the Upper Grand District School Board.
A regular meeting held with the Superintendent of School Operations, Brent McDonald says this year will be much different to what has been seen over the past 2 years with the full return of many regular school day activities which has been lackluster lately.
McDonald says regular recess, outdoor breaks, use of cafeterias and regular practice of emergency drills will continue.
Also to be seen will be extracurricular activities, school assemblies and visitors in school.
McDonald adds the board will monitor all illnesses and absence trends throughout the year.
