As the soon year kicks off in less than one week, the Avon Maitland District School Board is ready for a full year of in person instruction.
Data from the last 2 years has shown a dip in attendance has led to a decline in achievement.
AMDSB is launching its first attendance campaign called I AM here.
The campaign encourages more awareness for regular daily attendance.
For students the campaign means to be presents and on time, for staff its to stand with their students and for parents to remain engaged and encouraging their child’s education.
Updates on the I Am here campaign will be provided through the school board website and social media.
