The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has announced the emergency departments at the Chesley and Walkerton hospitals will be closing overnight for the weekend.
Starting from 5pm today to 7am Saturday, then close 5pm to 7am on Sunday, close again at 5pm, reopening at 7am on Monday.
Patients who are in need of care are asked to visit their closest hospital which for most would be in Hanover.
The cut in service has been locally throughout the summer due to a shortage in staff.
