The Town of Minto is looking to welcome its newcomers to the area across Harriston, Clifford and Palmerston with an event geared for newcomers to socialize and meet local community groups.
Various groups, churches and businesses will be attending for new residents to learn more about the area as well as pick up any recycling and organic bins if they have not yet already acquired theirs.
Palmerston will host on September 11th from 12pm-2pm at the Palmerston Lions Park Pavilion with a free BBQ lunch from the Lions.
Clifford’s event will take place September 15th from 6-8pm in Celebration Square with a BBQ done by Clifford Rotary with Harriston’s at the Harriston-Minto Community Complex on the 16th from 6-8pm.
