Listowel’s Art in the Park is set for next weekend in the Listowel Memorial Park.
The event is celebrating 5 years which invites residents to come out and see a slew of local crafts, art, vendors and more.
The all day event which kicks off at 11am will also feature live music, food trucks and kids crafts for the whole family to enjoy.
Creator and organizer for Art in the Park, Heather MacEwen says recently, being able to showcase art and get local support has been something amazing to see.
“Just being able to see the community support and more opportunities for us to get our voices and art out there is very exciting for us at this time.” said MacEwen.
MacEwen adds the support so far from vendors has been great to see.
“Artists, creators, makers, small business and youth creators and artists. Just putting the call out has seen such a great response, I’m very happy with the vendor turnout this year for sure.”
Vendors are still being accepted for the event on Saturday August 6th, which for those visiting comes at no cost for them.
