The Atwood Lions shared news yesterday that the service club had selected Lion Murray Chapman to join the Melvin Jones Fellowship.
In the post the Atwood Lions say “Chappy” as he is affectionately known has served the community for many years and has often been the cheerful face welcoming a visitor to their events.
The token of appreciation serves to acknowledge his outstanding service and is aptly named after the founder of Lions Club International, Melvin Jones.
To close the Atwood Lions thank him for his continued service and being an inspiration to them all.
