Palmerston Lions Park has been subject to recent slew of vandalism which has had councilors pay attention to the acts.
Ron Elliot made a plea to the public to report any incidents of vandalism they see as an increase has been seen at Lions Heritage Park.
Elliot says the acts have been the worst he’s ever seen in 50 years in the area.
Elliot noted over the past 2 weeks acts of vandalism has included pulling a pump for a fountain, destroyed a bench at a water feature, smash a window at the Palmerston Heritage Railway Museum and broke bleachers at the ballpark by jumping on them.
Elliot says he has started looking into the costs for surveillance equipment.
