Stratford Festival is among many other local businesses which has received funding from FedDev Ontario.
In total $11.3 million has been invested into businesses in Stratford.
The Festival which employs over 1000 people and brings in thousands of tourists per year will see the majority of the funding to support the Festival’s recovery, seeing $10 million.
The other $1.3 million will be provided to The Little Prince Cinema, named the Guinness Book of World Records smallest purpose built cinema, Lights on Stratford, the Stratford Perth Museum and tourism organizations with Perth County and St Marys have also received funding.
