The first day of summer will kick off with a bang as a heat warning is in effect across North and Southern Perth and Huron County’s.
A two day heat event will last throughout today and Wednesday with temperatures reaching to the high to mid 30’s and minimum temperatures in the low 20’s.
Hot a humid air can also bring deteriorating air quality with risks greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people working or exercising outdoors.
Cooler temperatures are expected by Thursday.
