On June 4th at around 6:20pm Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a possible drowning at the Grand River Conservation Authority in Rockwood.
It was reported a 33 year old male and 7 year old female, father and daughter from Mississauga were pulled from the water from bystanders after their inflatable boat was capsized.
OPP, Guelph-Wellington Paramedics and Guelph/Eramosa Fire all responded to the scene.
The 33 year old was transported to hospital and pronounced deceased with the 7 year old treated at the scene.
