All member of Perth County OPP took part in the Canada Road Safety Week campaign which ran from May 17th-May 23rd.
The traffic safety focused mainly on the “big 4” factors of serious collisions, impaired driving, distracted driving, aggressive driving and failure to wear a seat belt.
Perth County OPP in total, charged five people with impaired driving, three with driving while prohibited, four with careless driving, nine with stunt driving with seven for seatbelt offenses.
230 people were also charged with speeding.
The public is encouraged to adopt and maintain safe road behaviors which align with this year’s campaign “Safer You. Safe Me.”
