Perth County’s Economic Development and Tourism Division has announced its received an $82,200 grant from the Digital Main Street program for a two year Digital Service Squad Program.
This grant will allow the continued support from the digital service squad to serve small businesses and give them a boost online and grow.
Economic Development Officer for Perth County, Justin Dias says the success of the digital service squad has greatly benefited local business.
“We’ve served over 150 businesses through consultations. That could be 100 businesses we’ve served once and other times, businesses who have returned for multiple services. It’s been very well received in the community and across all four of our lower tiers in Perth County.” said Dias.
The digital service squad supports businesses with basic website setup, 360o photos, social media help and more.
The support will allow the program to run until March 2024.
