Taxi rates are expected to rise by Canada Day in Stratford.
The Police Services Board approved the rate increase which will begin July 1st.
The changes will apply to all cab companies in Stratford.
Trips within the city with one or two passengers will jump to $13, previously at $11.50. With three or more will increase to $14, from $12.50 and trips for seniors will increase an extra dollar for $12.
The board also voted to review fares on an annual basis going forward.
