The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation announced Thursday that thanks to the generosity of the community they were able to contribute $870,325 to the Wingham & District Hospital over the past fiscal year.
The funds were used to upgrade the full complement of OR scopes, new medication dispensing equipment, refresh of the x-ray department, and construction of the new palliative care suite.
The Foundation thanked everyone who made a gift to the Foundation in the past year.
They add that it’s their honour to be a partner in sustaining the local hospital.
