As North Perth Fire Crews return to the scene at Elma Street and Havelock, firefighters are reminding drivers to avoid the area for the safety of themselves and first responders.
Earlier this morning a member of the fire department was transported to hospital with non-serious injuries as a result of a motorist driving over the fire departments hoses.
There is no word on how the long the section of Elma and Havelock will be occupied by firefighters.
Drivers are asked to find an alternate route around the area.
