Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance announced that admissions to the Inpatient Unit at the St. Marys Memorial Site have been closed due to an outbreak in the Unit.
4 patients and 1 team member have tested positive for Covid-19.
HPHA say they have notified Public Health and patients, family, caregivers and team members affected by the outbreak are in the process of being notified. Necessary contact tracing and testing on individuals on the unit is also taking place.
Family and Caregiver presence in the unit has been restricted. The only exception is for palliative patients at end of life.
