The Wingham/Lucknow U18C Girls Hockey Team brought home the 2022 OWHA U18C Provincial Championship banner last weekend at the Tournament in Toronto.
The team faces the Lambeth Lancers losing 2 to 1, then beat Mount Forest 2 to 1 and Brockville 6 to 1.
Finishing 1st in their Pool, they faced Chatham in the Semi-Finals and the win in that game earned them a spot in the Gold Medal game with a rematch against Lambeth.
The team won 6 to 3 to capture the Gold.
