Abby Graham, a grade 12 student at Centre Wellington High School who kicked off the Kindness Pledge has seen almost 1000 signatures of support.

The signatures come from individuals, groups and businesses.

Graham started the pledge after an incident involving a transgender being bullied and attacked for their gender identity.

Graham says the pledge and its website are all about sharing support on many different aspects.

“It’s awesome to be quite literal I never realized it would get this big or a chain of support when I first began this.” said Graham.

Graham adds she will look to be busy on the website, offering various aspects of inclusivity and information.

“We recently put up a few posts for Black History Month and Eating Disorder Awareness Month. I’m in the middle of shifting around some people, but I’m hoping to get back to spreading message of ally-ship in the next coming weeks.”
