Sacred Heart School in Wingham shared the exciting news today that Mr. Campbell’s Grade 8 Class at the school was treated to an Electrical Board presentation.
The special guests from the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board were there as part of teh Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.
Retired Electricial Teacher Mr. Smith, OYAP Rep Mr. Flanagan and Transitions Guidance Teacher Mrs. Hastings taught about wire cutting and how to wire the electrical board all in safe learning environment
The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program is a highschool program that allows students to try a high variety of apprenticeship based careers in skills trades.
