Huron County OPP’s Crime Unit are assisting the Office of the Fire Marshall following a fatal house fire in Fordwich on Monday.
At around 7:19pm Monday night, OPP, Huron County paramedics and fire stations from Howick and Minto responded to the blaze on Fordwich Line north of Fordwich.
One adult was unable to escape and remains inside a portion of the home which was heavily damaged.
Police remain on the scene to continue their investigation.
