Minto Mayor George Bridge has announced he will not be seeking re-election in the 2022 municipal election in October.
Bridge says after 12 years in office he wishes to spend more time with his family.
During his time serving Minto, Bridge served as warden of Wellington County, a chair of the Western Ontario Wardens Caucus Economic Development Committee and elected to the board of directors for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
Bridge is the first person in Minto to be elected to a second term, who will be exiting his third term later this year.
