The Organizing Committee for the St. Marys Hometown Heritage event have resumed planning for what they promise is a blockbuster weekend of fun for residents, former residents and visitors alike from July 1st to 3rd this year.
After a 2 year delay Heritage Co-Chair Wayne Murray says they are excited to move forward with an incredible weekend. Adding it’s been a long time coming and they could all use some fun.
The Homecoming committee has joined forced with the Stonetown Heritage Festival to produce a single weekend.
The weekend starts with Canada Day commemorations, a parade, street dance and fireworks. It then continues with a DCVI all year reunion, downtown street fair and a licensed evening concert.
The Lions Vintage Car show and closing ceremonies at the Front Porch Show will round out the weekend.
