The community of Palmerston is soon going to have a business offering services to adults with developmental delays. The Building Bridges Adult Day program has been in the works for over 4 years. The driving force behind it’s inception is Founder and Program Facilitator Sierra-Lynn Moreira.
She realized her dream of operating a facility after working at a similar facility as part of her placement when she earned her degree and diploma.
“I realized not only how fun it was to be a support workers on a day program, and how much the guys enjoy it, but also how much of a need there was in the community for day programs.”
