Xplornet has proposed a second telecommunications tower in the Town of Erin.
Officials with Xplornet say this addition will continue to benefit residents and provide a higher speed of internet.
Xplornet has been looking to have telecommuncations towers installed across Wellington County to provide better service to its rural customers, though some locations have had to be reconsidered due to location issues.
The current proposed location for a 2nd tower in Erin is at 5562 Trafalgar Road near the intersection of Sideroad 17.
Other proposed tower locations in Wellington County include Wellington North and Mapleton.
