A First Nation in British Columbia says a preliminary geophysical investigation has found 93 “reflections” would could indicate the number of children buried around the site of a former residential school.

14 of 470 hectares around the former St Joseph’s Mission Residential School has been examined and is part of the process to learn more about what happened to children who didn’t return home.

Chief Willie Sellars of the Williams Lake First Nation says excavation would confirm the reflections and more work is needed to be done to confirm the preliminary investigation.
