Huron Perth Public Health is reporting outbreaks at area Long Term Care and Retirement Homes across the Region this week.
In terms of Long Term Care there were outbreaks at Kingsway Lodge in St. Marys declared on January 3rd with 2 staff and 2 residents impacted. Ritz Lutheran Villa also went into outbreak on January 5th with 2 staff impacted.
The outbreaks declared at Hillside Manor in Perth East, Queensway Nursing Home and Wildwood Care Centre in St. Marys remain active.
On the retirement home front Exeter Villa declared an outbreak on January 2nd with 4 residents and 1 staff testing positive. As well the same day Seaforth Manor Retirement Home in Huron East went into outbreak with 1 resident and 1 staff impacted.
Maplewood Manor Retirement in Huron East remains in outbreak from December.
Also active are 6 outbreaks in Congregate Living settings across the Region. Locations were not disclosed.
