A local Palmerston based company is making headlines in the attempt to disrupt the drywall industry with their innovative plastic extrusion based products.

The company’s president, Dave Caputo, got his start in computer networking technology before his disdain for drywall lead him to invest in a local plastic extrusion company.

The company MSW plastics, is what laid laid the groundwork for what is now Trusscore.

Just like it’s name the company makes PVC walls reinforced with truss-shaped cores and markets then for garages and basements.

The company pivoted in the early days of the pandemic getting into barriers for faculties that were mobile mountable on feet entitled TempWall.

The company has factories in Calgary and Ohio in addition to their home base in Palmerston.
