Huron County OPP have charged a Vanastra resident with Assault with a Weapon following a domestic disturbance.
Huron County OPP were called to a residence on 12th Street in Vanastra on December 2nd at around 11pm to investigate a disturbance taking place.
Investigation resulted in one of the involved persons being arrested.
Further checks showed the accused was failing to comply with a court release order and probation order.
A 29 year old from Huron East has been charged with Assault with a Weapon, Failure to Comply with a Release Order and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
The accused has since been released from custody.
