Perth County council spent time to voice some displeasure at a recent change to Via Rail service in the area.
Among the big concern was the transit system changing its schedule from Stratford with a pick up at 11:36am to arrive at Union Station for 1:38pm, two hours later than it use to be.
Councilor Walter McKenzie says VIA Rail all connects with transit across the area.
“It ties in with our whole transportation package. We’ve got the buses coming in from Stratford going to Kitchener. It’s only a month after we were all celebrating the GOTrains coming to St Marys and London.” said McKenzie
Council agreed some action should be taken as those who wish to make trips out to Toronto face issues with the service’s schedule.
