The Avon Maitland District School Board elected a new Chair in Al Sygrove and Vice Chair Nancy Rothwell at their meeting last night.
Sygrove has served on the Board for 12 years, serving one year as Chair and two as Vice Chair. The Board says he brings a wealth of experience in the educations sector due to his career as a teach and Administrator.
Rothwell has recently served as the Ontario Public School Board’s Association Rep and says she is looking forward to the opportunity.
