The Four County Labour Market Planning Board is offering programs to various career paths to those across Midwestern Ontario.
Serving Perth, Huron, Bruce and Grey Counties, Connect2Skills offers training in skills such as tourism, manufacturing and now offering construction.
Gemma Mendez-Smith, Executive Director of the Planning Board says they’ve seen great success from these programs in over the past few years.
“People are finding jobs, they’re keeping jobs and are being promoted through the organizations and the fields so it’s good news all around. We just want to be able help people gain those skills.” said Mendez-Smith
