The Upper Grand District School Board has announced Belal Taha and Wendy Donaldson have been appointed as Superintendents of Education.
Taha currently serves with the York Region District School Board as a principal. Taha was recognized in 2017 as one of Canada’s Outstanding Principals by the Learning Partnership.
Wendy current serves as the Upper Grand District School Boards Assistant to the Superintendent of Program Services. She has also held roles as a teacher, vice-principal and principal.
Taha will assume his role on January 1st with Wendy starting April 1st.
Both replace Superintendents Cheryl Van Ooteghem and Tracy Lindsay who both are retiring.
