It’s the season of budgeting for next year.
Centre Wellington recently took a look at their numbers which includes a draft budget proposing a 2.4 per cent property tax increase which would see an increase of $27 on the annual tax bill for the average residential property at $381,095.
Looking at the operating budget, a total of $44.4 million which is funded from tax supported services of $31 million.
Insurance premiums for the township’s facilities will also see a jump of $98,500 for 2022.
Budget meetings will continue this week and be finalized on December 20th.
