Wellington County’s proposed tax hike currently sits at 2 per cent for next year.
The final meeting of the year for Wellington County was held to discuss the matter.
The County’s 10 year capital plans sit just under $500 million which includes new ambulance facilities, an administration centre expansion and the development of the county’s only active landfill site at Riverstown.
County treasurer Ken DeHart made the proposed tax hike for 2022 on a budget which currently totals $240 million.
The budget for Wellington will be set in January.
