Huron Perth Public Health and the Avon Maitland District School Board updated parents of students at Elma Township Public School that the school is being temporarily closed effect Monday, November 29th.

The reasoning was the currently active outbreak at the school that has 21 student cases impacted as of November 29th as well as the ongoing Covid-19 activity. It was declared on November 23rd.

They say the school will remain closed to in-person learning until at least Monday, December 6th.
