On November 6th at around 2:30am, Wellington County OPP responded to a call of a stranded motorist who ran out of fuel on Side Road 20 near Wellington Road 16 in Centre Wellington.
As police arrived, they formed the opinion the driver had been drinking and requested a breath sample which they refused.
A 25 year old from London has been charged with Refusal to Comply with a Demand contrary to the criminal code.
Their license was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.
The accused will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
