The Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County is holding their 7th Annual Family Conference on Saturday, October 16th.
The event sponsored by the SickKids Foundation will be virtual and free for anyone to attend. Registration is required.
The theme for this years event is Social Skills and Learning Disabilities. Keynote speaker will be world renowned author and presenter, Rick Lavoie.
Topics set to be covered include Building Health Peer Interactions and relations with Children who have Learning Disabilities, EdTech for Parents and Social Media, Cyberbullying and Internet Safety.
