North Perth council has the made the decision to not support the request from Listowel Minor Hockey.
Listowel Minor Hockey approached council and the Recreation Advisory Committee on the matter for reduced ice rates.
Councilor Jeff Newell says the Advisory Committee is still mulling over the proposal of a booth to help fundraiser efforts for Listowel Minor Hockey.
“There is potential of an option for Listowel Minor Hockey to implement a booth to raise money for their program but no decision has been made. I will gladly bring the report forward once final discussion has been had with staff.” said Newell
In regards to reduced ice rates however, council flawlessly voted to not reduce the rates at this time.
