Mental health of students is intended to be a big focus heading into this school year.
According to the Canadian mental Health Association of Waterloo-Wellington, 70 per cent of school aged children and 66 per cent of pre-school children have experience some form of mental health struggles since the start of the pandemic.
This can add more issues for some students who will return to the classroom on Tuesday with certain concerns such as anxiety.
While the association says its very positive news to be returning for in person instruction and be able to be social again its important mental health is talked about.
