St Marys council is beginning a plan to return to in person meetings next month.
Council has not been able to meet in person for meetings since March of 2020 before shifting entirely to virtual and livestreamed.
The current plan is to go back to in person on September 14th with the mayor and council, chief administrative officer, clerk and additional staff member.
All other staff would be taking part in meetings virtually.
Councilor Fern Pridham welcomes the idea of bringing back in person meetings again but still likes the idea of having meetings livestreamed as it allows more residents to stay informed and listen into meetings more often.
