The Launch Pad Youth Activity and Technology Centre in Hanover received it’s Canadian Welding Bureau certification last month with the help of a large $10,000 donation from the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers and it’s members.
With this move the Youth Initiative becomes a place where they are able to better build their skills and provide career pathways locally. Welding programs have been a staple at the site since they were added in 2017.
It remains one of Launch Pad’s most popular skills.
