On Saturday August 14th just before 6pm, Huron County Paramedic Services and Huron County OPP responded to a report of a crash scene on Front Road, just east of Seaforth.
A crash involving a motorbike had occurred with the driver sustaining minor injuries as he lost control trying to make a pass but wiped out. While officers were speaking they suspected the driver was impaired.
The driver was arrested and was found to be above the legal limit after two breath tests were conducted.
The 61 year old from Huron East has been charged with Operation While Impaired. A 90 day license suspension was given and the vehicle was impounded.
The accused was released and scheduled to appear in court in Goderich on September 27th.
