The Town of Minto continues to keep public safety as a top priority during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As the Province makes it’s way through the recovery plan the Town has announced they will reopen the Municipal Office to the public as of Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

They will be limited the front space of the building to only 2 people at the counter at any one time. They recommend that anyone wishing to speak with staff book an appointment to avoid standing in lineups outside the office.

The Town will also be resuming in-person council meetings beginning Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Due to the limited space in Council Chambers they will be holding meetings on a rotating schedule between the Harriston, Clifford and Palmerston Community Centres.

They will be releasing more details of the safety plan for Council meetings as they get closer September 21st. You can find the latest updates at the Town’s website at town.minto.on.ca.
