The Huron Perth Public Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a bit incident that occured on August 8th at the Brussels Conservation Area.
The dog involved was a male German Shepherd, black and brown, and a little over a year old.
There was no owner accompanied by the dog and the victim was not able to see if the dog had any dog tags on him.
The victim was bit when he was walking through the conservation area with his girlfriend.
HPPH is investigating this incident to verify if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
HPPH reminds people to always obtain contact information of the owners of the animal involved in a biting incident.
