Huron-Perth Public Health continues to make strides in getting residents vaccinated from COVID-19. As vaccination numbers continue to increase, public health will introduce newer options to ensure everyone can get vaccinated.

While the vaccine rate is a good pace, Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen says case numbers continue to affect the unvaccinated.

“The majority of new cases have been from unvaccinated individuals. Getting vaccinated means you are less likely to contract the virus, suffer severe outcomes or spread it to others.” said Dr. Klassen

Starting next week newer options such as drive thru clinics and evening vaccines will be adopted in the region.
